Nightingales Recording

For those of you...

1. Under 35 - The Nightingales played 6 Peel Sessions - a feat bettered by very few bands - although The Fall were on practically every other week...

2. Under 35 IQ - The Peel Sessions were the most revered and loved Sessions ever. These sessions launched more underground bands than any other.

After last years seriously excellent Insult To Injury album (Klangbad / Faust Studios, Ger) they are in at Musoplex recording a split single for imminent launch in the US.

They have been rehearsing at the plex for some time now and it really is an honour to have them in to record as well.

Congratulations to Fly By Nature...

Recorded by Lee Philips (Corner Studios) at Musoplex and Produced by our Head Producer Si Reeves the new Fly By Nature recording got them signed to MAS Records.  Solid songwriting, quirky and sometimes prog keys and anthemic choppy guitars, solid and varied rhythm section and swerving baritone vocals contribute to a really contemporary sound. Good luck gents.

Many bands are good, many verge on excellent but few bands come through the studio that really make you sit up and pay attenton...welcome to This Wicked Tongue.

This stuff is from a live session recorded for Katy Jay when she was running her Freshly Picked Unsigned sessions on WCRfm. This Wicked Tongue were kind enough to come and play one of our live nights on a quiet Thursday night in Halesowen. We were so impressed they came in for a live session and this is one of the 3 tracks they did...enjoy.
